30 fully wrapped Pedicabs with news paper distribution baskets attached to them serviced around the convention center for 4 days. Hundreds of papers were handed out to conventioneers.

- “Green Ride” Pedicabs sponsored by Nashville, Houston and USAE lined up and shuttled ASAE delegates to and from convention hotels to the San Diego Convention Center. Complimentary ride tickets were available at the sponsor’s booths.

- Brand Ambassadors (drivers) wore Houston promo t-shirts during these 4 days.

Richard Walker’s Restaurant Advertising Campaign:

Summary:

RW needs a unique outdoor advertising media to drive more patrons to their beautiful Pancake House in the middle of Downtown.

- They had a concern about the other mobile billboards that they used and did not provide enough exposure for what they paid.

- They also needed to distribute some coupons and brochures to visitors of SD everyday. What would be an affordable outdoor advertising media for them?
Execution:

10 fully wrapped eye-catching mobile billboards (pedicabs) reserved for 3 months to run everyday in Downtown San Diego in high-traffic streets and tourist areas.

- Promotional brochures placed on the Pedicabs and distributed by our brand ambassadors (drivers) for 3 months.

- Drivers recommended this restaurant to those asking for a good breakfast place.

- Drivers took patrons to restaurant’s door step.
Results:

Sure to turn your head to these pedicabs and look twice. Great impression rate and respond to this campaign helped RW to generate more sales.

Summary:

In a highly competitive insurance industry, during one of the biggest convention event in San Diego where 20.000 people attending and having parties all around Gaslamp area every night, how does Liberty Mutual stand out in the crowd and impress its customers? How they can create brand awareness on people walking outside of the convention center? How their ad also can be seen at night by people coming out of a night club?
Objectives:

The campaign objective was to generate awareness out side of the conventions center and around the parties and special events. Liberty Mutual wanted to highlight the numerous unique benefits they offer their customers through using 5 different messaging on the 30 pedicabs and drivers’ t-shirts. They also wanted pedicabs to provide free rides to their customers from a night club where they had a party at to their hotels for 4 hours.
Strategy:

Targeted key high foot traffic areas where decision makers commute, sponsoring Pedicab billboards and drivers and locating them by the Convention Center, Hotels and special event facilities. After a special company party at a night club in Gaslamp, go green and use pedicabs to transport their guest to the hotels all rides sponsored by Liberty Mutual for 4 hours.
Results:

Unprecedented convention advertising domination via outdoor media pedicabs during massive Rims 2008 convention. Strong brand leadership built by using unique convention outdoor advertising media.

Cynosure was going to have a conference at the SD Convention Center and after the conference have a cocktail and party at a local place in the Gaslamp Quarter. They wanted us to transport their guest with the branded bike cabs for 5 hours.
